WINDSCREEN HEADS-UP DISPLAY (HUD)

What is a Heads-Up Display (HUD)?
A Heads-Up Display (HUD) is a transparent display projected onto the windscreen, allowing drivers to view essential information (such as speed, navigation, and warnings) without taking their eyes off the road.
How do I ensure the HUD projection works properly on a replacement windscreen?
Before installing a new windscreen:
• Check the HUD projection on the original windscreen to confirm it is functioning correctly.
• Perform a dry fit of the replacement windscreen to assess clarity and alignment.
Why does my HUD appear blurry or have double vision after windscreen replacement?
HUD images may not be as crisp on some aftermarket windscreens compared to original equipment (OE) screens.
If you experience blurriness or double vision, it may indicate a defect in the screen.
What should I do if my new windscreen causes HUD distortion?
If you notice blurry or double vision:
• Do not proceed with installation.
• Notify us immediately.
• Provide photos or videos of the HUD projection from different angles for assessment.
• Our supplier may request to inspect the screen before it is removed from the vehicle.
Are all aftermarket windscreens compatible with HUD systems?
While our supplier provides high-quality aftermarket windscreens, some may not provide the same sharpness as OE screens.
Can a HUD defect be fixed without replacing the windscreen?
No, a defective HUD projection typically requires replacing the windscreen with a properly calibrated and HUD-compatible glass.
Will my warranty cover a defective HUD projection?
If the HUD projection appears blurry or has double vision due to a windscreen defect, it may be covered under our supplier’s warranty.
However, if the issue is that the HUD projection is not crisp/sharp, the only solution is to replace it with a genuine (OE) windscreen. While we do not stock genuine parts, we can order them upon customer request.
